I know we at the Flashlight have talked about this before, but in light of our new president pledging support to send people to Mars – despite the shuttle program permanently ending next year and having no viable space-faring replacement, two major wars and a slew of home-grown economic issues – I could not simply pass this up.

Camera photography has come a long way since the sixties. And that’s the problem. Those “lunar” missions were photographed using cameras that utilized sixties technology. The framing, the lighting, even the number of photos that were taken just don’t add up.  See for yourself.
