That’s right Constant Readers – NATO officials have officially considered a manifesto (created by several armed forces chiefs from America and four European nations) that recommends the use of tactical nuclear weapons as a first strike option in order to prevent the use of weapons of mass destruction. Even better, this manifesto calls for an overhaul of the NATO decision making process, making it work faster than before – essentially streamlining NATO’s ability to authorize the use of military force when necessary.
Is it me, or does that sound like the streamlined process that got American forces rumbling through Iraq before anyone had a true inkling of what was really going on…
