Part of me wanted to believe this could never happen, Constant Readers, but I suppose it was only a matter of time. Due in no small part to the incidents involving the Department of Water and Power, our state government has decided to allow the re-negotiation of the water services contract with Rainha Services, essentially handing over control of the LA public water works to this Konig subsidiary!
Somehow, we have to keep this from happening. King’s empire already has its claws in a myriad of businesses throughout LA, but handing over our public water works to this corporate entity is downright scary, especially given the part they played in the Purgers incident.
Constant Readers, I’m starting to believe that we at the Flashlight may need to start taking a more proactive role in the protection of our city.
